Does your constellation effect your weight?

Last night, after our yoga session , my good friend Juli and I decided to have dinner together. During our dinner, I pointed out that the practises are getting more challenging and that most of the people in our yoga class are annoyingly skinny.

She quipped, “Leos gain weight the easiest!” (Juli and I were both Leos)

I looked at her with skepticism for some time. And she looked at me beamingly, “Its true!” But she didnt give me an explanation. I looked at my glass of water and was suddenly inspired.

The full moon over lakeside, Singapore

Is it because our bodies are made up of 70 percent water? We all know that the moon causes tidal effects on the sea. When the moon turns one direction, it will cause the sea to go to high tide and vice versa.

Thus it is possible that it could effect our moods and also our weight.

I was also reminded of a book that I read in regards to a Japanese scientist, Dr Masaru Emoto. He believes that because our bodies has a capacity of water, human thoughts will affect a person, depending it be positive or negative.

Can it be possible that our constellation affect our weight gain? Hmm …

p.s Last evening, my host was down for four hours! I almost went ballistic. Calm down Marina, calm down … Ohm … Ohm … Ohm …

True, a large portion of the reason of our weight is due to our genes. There is a maximum that our bodies can shrink or expand because of our genetical make up.

But I think that its also viable that graviational forces of the sun/moon tidal forces would be at play here, effecting our weight. Its just not proven yet πŸ˜›

Mine was just a hypothesis rather.

That our weight is affected due to the pull of the moon and the sun tidal forces. My mind wandered around constellation to the galaxy to the sun and moon and brought me to that hypothesis πŸ™‚

  2. at the risk of sounding off-point, a recent study claims obesity is a social disease. so if u have close friends and relatives who are obese, there’s a higher likelihood of you putting on the pounds too. makes sense eh? because after all, eating is pretty much a social activity and your standard of what’s an acceptable body weight is very much a reflection of the standards set by your loved ones.

    =P

  3. You’ve got a point there. I’ve heard this theory on 938 even and that makes sense. I guess at the same time one of the person in the circle would have to be strong enough to motivate the other to work out or eat healthily πŸ™‚
