It’s something that I’ve never looked forward to, especially in a country where I’m not fluent in speaking the national language.
Anyway, this topic is a little bit hard for me to write, so I thought that it would be easier to do a video blog instead.
Just a warning though, the video is quite long at about 12 minutes and I’d be talking about the female part of the body. So if you’re not comfortable about the topic, you don’t have to watch it!
P.S. I’ve tried uploading and editing 3 times, and each time I keep having the squashed video effect. It takes at least 5 hours (each time) just to upload it to youtube and now I can’t be arsed anymore.
Hi Marina!
Me too..I’ve never looked forward to having a papsmear test. Hope u cure yr inflammation before the next test..if not u can try to postpone it.
One thing, if u go for yr monthly gynae checkups when u’re preggy, they’ll put 2 fingers in to check u and I had to get pricked (for blood tests) almost every month.
If both of u are planning to have a kid, it’d be wise for one to hv a stable job and ready to maintain the other for at least a few years.
For me, it was a tough choice to choose over a fulltime job with shifts and a baby. I chose the latter and I’m not regretting it for a second π
If we had to wait that I get a stable job, I think we would make a kid only when we’re 50 yrs old…hahaha!!
It’s time to make a kid if one of u have not got a strong objection against a baby. The later u make, the more tiring (since we age with every moment) it’ll be.
Of course it’ll be wise to do the prenatal tests to avoid certain problems.
For me the pregnancy isn’t beautiful! I had heartburn most of the time, swelling of the feet in the last month and u cannot do many things since u get tired easily. It was more like 30% beautiful when I felt Francesco’s movements and 70% heartburn ;(
We always had this worry if baby is ok, normal or some problem could crop up during the pregnancy. All we looked forward to was his birth!
Now life has changed but having a baby and watching him grow, it is a wonderful feeling and satisfaction you will experience only when u become a parent.
Sincerely, I wasn’t convinced of such joy at first nor am I crazy about kids, but now all I look forward to is giving my best to Francesco.
Many good luck to u both when u decide to make one π
Sally, oh gosh. You had to go through all that – the medical checks and the heatburns … but I’m glad that it’s been all worth it after seeing Francesco! π
I’ve been watching videos online on how the procedures are. It’s been very informative. Still quite apprehensive about them, but they have been very enlightening for me.
Thanks for all your kind advises Sally and telling me of your personal experiences. I really appreciated them all. Big hugs π
