I’ve always loved flowers. I’ve always dreamed about having a garden full of beautiful and colourful flowers. I was thrilled when my classmate gave me this as a house warming party
What a lovely little flower. So bright!
But after about a month, cobwebs started to form on the flowers. The flowers itself started to shrivel.
I thought it was best to chop the flowers off. The plant seems to be doing ok, but it looks so sad now! 
And some while back, I bought for myself a nice pot of Begonias
It was so pretty. I loved looking at the yellows and greens. They were so cheerful looking.
But for some reason, its not doing too well either. Its starting to be brown and its wilting!
What am I doing wrong?!?!
Did I water too much? Did I water too little? Did I give it too much sun? Did I not give it enough sun? Its seems more complicated than taking care of kittens!
I seem to be an accidental plant killer!

My mum is crazy about plants, she has like 50 of them everywhere around the house. As far as I know, each sort has it’s own rule about how much water and light it needs and what kind of soil. You need to find the info online :)

i don’t sing to mine because they’d be sure to shrivel up if i did!
hehehehee that was funneh!!! Poor thing! Don’t feel bad. I don’t have green thumbs as well. My presence can kill cactus, let alone beautiful flowers :P
I dunno about potted plants, but for those in vases, I heard you can put one Panadol in the water to give the flowers at least an extra week of life. But then I can put anything and the flowers will still die, so don’t take my word for it :P

Erggh. I hate plants and they hate me. I mean, I like flowers of course, but they never survive around me. Ho wellz.

You know, I think they are supposed to die after they bloomed. You are supposed to remove it and use the soil (se non sei pigra) to plant other things, from a seedling.
Hmm.. i love plants but don’t dare to try flowers cos they are more difficult to grow and maintain. Maybe u should try on plants first to test if u have green fingers but moving to flowers. Haha!
I agree with MKL and eKa. Each plant is different and requires different care, and some plants only bloom once and then die, whereas others come back year after year.
I’ve never had much luck with plants myself. The only thing I’ve managed not to kill is a cactus, and I came close with that.

Oh boy. I didnt anticipate that taking care of a flower would be so fastidious! All I thought was that I’d water it once a day and that would be enough. However does your mum keep up with 50?
Cart and I visited the florist in the evening and I realised that I watered the flowers too much …

For me, ehm, I have a neighbour next door that pops out every now and then so I feel a little ehm, a little self conscious.
Isnt it enough to give the flowers a hypnotic stare? Thou shalt bloom. Thou shalt not die.

And yes, I’ve killed cactus too! Gosh, it was overzealousness that did it! I overwatered it! Just like I overwatered my begonias I think!
Ok, I will learn to control myself and not pay too much attention to the flowers.

Sure, understandable. That’s what my hibiscus plants do too. It buds, bloom for one day and then dies. But I dont worry too much because others will bloom soon :-)
But my begonias … and my whatsiscalled name … not only the flower died, the entire freaking plant died!

Maybe you are the same as me? I managed to kill a cactus one time … I realised it this evening with Cart when we visited a gardener. I am overzealous at watering. Too much love kills too …

try growing money plant. looks nice and doesn’t need a lot of water. just plenty of sunshine. but no flowers. hehe
Haven’t seen a money plant for sale here. But that could sounds like a good idea :-)
