Yesterday, I made the painful decision of not going to Italy to see Cartcart in June. This is to save some money for the both of us for the wedding at the end of the year.
This is heartbreaking because I miss him tremendously and I feel miserable. But after a while, I was inspired to do a montage of our happy times together :)

LDRs are painful in the short term, but i’ve had some friends who’ve endured 7 years of LDRs, and are now happily married. -) it’s not that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but time apart really does make you reflect on why you’re in the relationship you’re in -)

7 years is a long time! I am not sure if Cart and I would wait for *that* long. But yes, you do have a point there, that the time apart makes one reflect on the reasons why a couple is in a relationship.
But still, it’ll be nice to have him next to me :-)
