Never hurts to have a spare on hand, for when things like this happen. I think I'm going to buy a netbook next month myself. My fan is still messed up in my MacBook and they want about 400 bucks to fix it. I can buy a new laptop for a bit more than that. Anyhow, I'll keep the Macbook and just find a used fan to stick in it, so later it'll be like having two. I just want a new one that'll be reliable.
